Akira Zakamoto was born in Tokyo,  June 6th, 1974.    
His mother Rumiko Toho, film producer, and his father   
Toshiro Zakamoto, actor,initiated the little Akira to the world   
of art since his very young age.  During the summer of 1982 
Azkira Zakamoto disappeared   and for an entire year the authorities 
searched for him until   the child was found in Italy in October 1983.  
Akira claimed in the midst of the general surprise to have   
been kidnapped by non-human creatures and to have visited  other worlds.   
 The experience of having lived in contact with the aliens   
becomes clear to Zakamoto only during the summer of 2003,  
when he returned to Italy  where he currently lives.  
As he writes in his “Diary of an Angel” (published by Yuasa)   
“Having experienced  a meaningless life I started to perceive   
signs of the big change” . Following  such perception Zakamoto   
started to remember his experience with beings from other  
planets and to paint prophetic subjects which characterise  
his poetic.
